For the Locals, this is running the Short and Long Divide in one big loop, for the rest of you, we'll explain where this goes!
The course begins by heading East up 100 S, towards 200 W. You'll then turn left and head south towards 300 S, at which point you turn right. This will take you to the Short Divide Pass. Stay on this road up and over the mountain! It's going to be a steep and deep climb! Don't worry though, you will reach the peak by Mile 3. But don't be fooled, the other side has some intense downhill. You'll be starting on gravel roads at this point until about mile 12. As you continue on the course its moderate til about mile 10 at which you'll begin to head uphill for only 2.5 miles. The course will be paved again as you head back into Cache County. You'll arrive at State Route 142 around mile 16, but rest assured you'll only be on that main road for about 1 mile. You'll then turn left onto 9400 N and continue on that road until you make it back to the town square!
Aid Stations: There will be port-a-potties, and fully stocked aid stations with water, Gatorade, and other essentials every 3 miles along the course. At the Mile 9 aid station, the Medical Station will also be provided. At the first aid station (mile 3) and mile 9 station, boxes will be provided for any clothing that needs to be dropped. We promise if it makes it into the box, it will be at the finish line for you!!!
**I've provided two different race maps, because I feel they both offer a little more than the other.
